Creating tasks in bulk

Tasks can be used to track to-dos and follow ups on your calendar. Learn more about tasks here. Please note that while you can create tasks in bulk, you cannot edit or delete tasks in bulk.

From the Contact list:
  • Please note: bulk creating tasks will create a unique task for each selected contact with the exact same task name, due date, and assigned user.
  • Go to the main Contact list by selecting "Contacts" in the navigation bar on the left.
  • If necessary, filter your contact list by any desired criteria to pull up just the appropriate records.
  • Tick the "Select all" box above the first contact and select all of the records. Or, tick just the box to the left of the desired records.
  • Select “Perform bulk action on [number] records” at the bottom of the screen. In the dialog that opens, select “Attach an item.” Then, choose “Task.”
  • Enter a task name and select the appropriate due date. Optionally, assign the tasks to another user and enter a description.
  • Click on the button “Create task for [number] records.” Then, select “Attach to [number] records” to confirm the task creation.
From the pipeline report:
  • Please note: the task will be linked to the contact on which the pipeline item is saved, but will not be linked directly to the pipeline item itself.
  • Note that bulk creating tasks will create a unique task for each selected contact with the exact same task name, due date, and assigned user.
  • Go to the desired pipeline report by mousing over “Reports” in the navigation bar on the left and selecting the appropriate pipeline name.
  • If necessary, filter your pipeline report by any desired criteria to pull up just the appropriate records.
  • Tick the "Select all" box above the first contact and select all of the records. Or, tick just the box to the left of the desired records.
  • Select “Perform bulk action on [number] records” at the bottom of the screen. In the dialog that opens, select “Attach an item.” Then, choose “Task.”
  • Enter a task name and select the appropriate due date. Optionally, assign the tasks to another user and enter a description.
  • Click on the button “Create task for [number] records.” Then, select “Attach to [number] records” to confirm the task creation.
