Preventing duplicate contacts

Learn more about how LACRM prevents duplicate contact and company entry:

  • When entering a new contact manually, if the contact name, email address, or phone number already exist LACRM will show a red warning linking to the existing contact.
  • When entering a new company manually, if the company name, email address, or phone number already exist LACRM will show a red warning linking to the existing company.
  • If a duplicate contact or company is created, a message will appear along the top of the record indicating that we identified a potential duplicate. There will be a link to view the detected duplicate and merge them there.
