Managing companies that share the same name

LACRM requires each company name to be unique. If you work with franchises or companies with different locations though, companies may share the same name. Learn how to track franchises or companies that share the same name separately:

• Edit the company name to include additional detail so that each company name is unique. Include the city name, zip code, store number, or any other unique identifier.
• For example, instead of “Acme Co” enter “Acme Co - St. Louis” and “Acme Co - Chicago.”
