Bulk editing tasks

Important details to understand before editing:
  • Bulk editing is extremely difficult, and in some cases impossible, to undo.
  • Bulk editing tasks to change the due date will update the existing due date for all selected records. Make absolutely certain you’ve made the appropriate selections before confirming any bulk editing.
  • If you have additional questions, or are in any way unsure, please contact us before making any bulk edits.
Here’s how to edit or delete tasks in bulk:
  • Please be sure that you understand the points above completely before proceeding. Undoing bulk updates is extremely difficult and sometimes impossible.
  • Go to the Task report by mousing over “Reports” in the navigation bar on the left and selecting “Task report” in the menu.
  • If necessary, filter your Task report by any desired criteria to pull up just the desired tasks.
  • Then, click on the “Select tasks” link above the first listed task on the left.
  • Tick the “Select all box” in the upper left to select all tasks. Or, select the box in the column to the left of individual tasks to select only those tasks.
  • Select “Perform bulk action on [number] tasks” at the bottom of the screen.
  • In the dialog that opens, select the appropriate option.
    • Choose “Mark as completed” to complete the selected tasks at once.
    • Click on “Mark as incomplete” to mark completed tasks as incomplete.
    • Select “Update due date” to change the due date of the task. Then, enter the new date for the selected tasks.
    • Click on “Delete from CRM” to delete the tasks completely.
  • Once you’ve confirmed the desired selection, use the button to save those changes.
