How to add an import to a group

Our importing tool makes it easy to bring in lists of data, but if you have multiple lists you may want to segment them. After an import is completed, you can group the import to give it a tag, so you can easily access the records from that import in the future.

First, you’ll need to import your file to the CRM. If you’re not sure how to import, we have some detailed instructions on importing here

After the import has been finalized, you’ll have a few bulk actions available on the left side of the page. You can select “Attach a group to each of these records” there. Next, choose whether the contacts only, companies only, or both should be added to the group. Finally, click on the desired group name, or type in a new one to add the imported records to a group.
