Learn how to create an automation:
- Mouse over “Settings” and select “Automations” in the menu.
- Then, select “Create a new automation” near the top of the page.
- On the next page, enter the Automation name.
- Select the actions you’d like to run when the automation is triggered.
- Assign to a user
- Attach note
- Attach task
- Attach group
- Attach a [pipeline name]
- The automation will automatically be saved! Return to the Automations page to create additional automations.
Automations can also be triggered automatically by a pipeline status change. To set an automation to be automatically triggered by a status change, follow these additional steps:
- Mouse over “Settings” and select “Pipelines” in the menu.
- Then, select “Edit pipeline” below the desired pipeline name.
- Select the status that you’d like to trigger the automation.
- In the dialog that opens, select “Run an automation when a contact enters this status” near the bottom.
- Then, select from your existing automations, or choose the actions you’d like to run when the automation is triggered.
- Select “Save” to save your selected actions, and then choose “Save status.”
- Going forward, this automation will run automatically when the contact enters the selected status.
