We’ve made a big improvement to our Zapier integration: you can now remove a contact from a group in LACRM as both a trigger and an action.
If you’re new to Zapier: it’s a third-party automation tool (with its own pricing) that connects different software products. In Zapier, each automation is called a “Zap,” built from a trigger (the event that starts the Zap) and an action (what happens next).
This improvement to our Zapier integration is especially powerful if you use email marketing tools that connect to Zapier. For example:
- Trigger: If someone unsubscribes from your mailing list in your email marketing tool, Zapier can trigger the removal of that person from your “Newsletter” group in LACRM.
- Action: If a contact is removed from a group in LACRM, you can push that change to your email marketing tool through Zapier, so your lists always stay aligned.
The result: no more manual cleanup, no mismatched lists, and less risk of sending newsletters to unsubscribed contacts. It’s an easier way to keep your CRM and marketing tools in sync.
We built this because this was a frequent request from customers who use Zapier to connect to their email marketing tool. But you can use this new Zapier option for whatever Zaps you'd like—you definitely aren't limited to just building email marketing tool connections.
