New feature: Assign companies with contacts

We've got another quick new feature to announce today!

LACRM has two types of records: contacts, and companies. Both of these record types can be assigned to any teammate on your account, and as separate records, a contact and company can be assigned to different users.

While we designed this specifically to allow for maximum flexibility, we often heard from users that they wanted to be able to assign a contact and a company together because there are many situations where one teammate would in charge of both. Or, in other cases, they wanted to be able to assign a company and all the contacts associated with the company at once.

To do this previously, you would have had to assign the contact(s) and the company separately but not any more!

If you're on a contact's profile page:

You can click on 'Assign to a user' in the 'Actions' menu on the top left corner, and assign this contact, plus their company and all the other contacts at this company to another user in one click:

If you're on a company's profile page:

You can click on 'Assign to a user' in the 'Actions' menu on the top left corner, and assign this company, plus all the contacts at this company to another user in one click:

This should help save you some time and clicks if you're in charge of assigning leads to your teammates!
