Filter workspace reports

The Workspace is like your home page in the CRM. It shows you today's events, and any tasks that are currently due (or overdue) plus a report summarizing how many contacts are in each stage of your pipelines, and an activity report showing all the data that has been going into the CRM.

If you have multiple users on your account, by default, the Workspace pipeline and activity reports show you what's going on with everyone you have access to see at the company, not just your own information. Understandably, some users have been telling us they'd rather just see their own info in those reports. Well, now you can do that. Here's a video showing how it works:

Multiple API keys

Note: This is the first part of a much larger overhaul of our API. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming months.

For those of you who don't know, our API (application programmer interface) is a way for third-party developers to write code that utilizes functionality within LACRM. For example, if you have a website with a contact form, you could have data from that form go directly into your CRM by building an integration between your website and LACRM using our API.

Until now, if you enabled the API, you were given a single API key to authenticate your requests. This worked fine, but it made it a bit tricky if you wanted to build multiple integrations, or if you wanted to periodically roll your API keys for security reasons.

We just released an improvement that allows you to create as many different API keys as you want. If you're using our API, head over to the settings page and you'll see the option to create additional keys.

New Mailchimp integration back-end

We're working on a major overhaul of our Mailchimp integration. The ultimate goal is to allow you to sync contacts with tags within Mailchimp so you don't need to sync with multiple audiences.

The first step in this process was to re-write the back-end code (i.e. the code running on our servers that has nothing to do with the user interface you interact with) which will allow us to build the new features we have planned. We just finished this step! You probably won't notice much of a change yet, but the Mailchimp integration should hopefully be a bit more reliable.
