One of the main jobs of a CRM is to remind you when you have something to take care of. For years, Less Annoying CRM has offered SMS (text message) reminders for calendar events to do just that. But until now, SMS reminders were only available to our customers in the US and Canada.
Well now our friends in the UK can also enjoy the convenience of these simple SMS reminders. If you have a UK phone number (country code +44) and you want to receive SMS reminders, just go to the Notifications Page and walk through the process at the bottom to add your number. Once you've done that, you can either add SMS reminders as the default for all events, or just add them to specific events.
Unfortunately we still aren't able to send SMS reminders to countries other than the US, Canada and the UK because the price is prohibitively expensive. But we're always keeping an eye on SMS pricing so that we can hopefully support more countries in the future.
