Have you ever wondered where websites get all of those random pictures of people smiling? What about the pictures of attractive women with headsets that are ready to take your call? I'm going to walk through some really simple tricks you can use to make a logo for a website. To demonstrate, I'm going to make a sample Less Annoying Software logo.

If you find that your design just doesn't stand out enough, but you're not sure what you can do to fix it, there's an easy trick that you should try out: Add gradients.
